ODEON Consortium Holds Second Review Meeting with the European Commission in Granada

This week, the ODEON project consortium gathered in Granada (Spain) for its second Review Meeting with the European Commission. The review was an important opportunity to take stock of the progress achieved so far, exchange feedback with the Commission, and look ahead to the next phase of the project.

During the meeting, the consortium presented the latest developments across the ODEON architecture and technology. These updates included the integration of Federated Energy Data Spaces and the Cloud-Edge Data & Intelligence Service Platform, as well as federated data sharing and distributed intelligence.

The discussions also covered the development of data- and intelligence-driven energy services for flexible and resilient grids, Local Energy Communities, and prosumers. Alongside this, the team reviewed the progress in demonstration and impact assessment across ODEON’s pilot sites. Alongside reviewing progress in demonstration and impact assessment across ODEON’s pilot sites, the consortium visited the pilot site in Spain.

Furthermore, the consortium assessed the progress of the ODEON Open Call and the project’s activities in dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and business innovation—key elements for ensuring that ODEON’s results reach beyond the project itself.

With the project moving further into its demonstration and validation phase, this review provided an important moment to assess achievements, gather feedback, and align the consortium on the work ahead. The ODEON team extends a big thank you to all partners for their contributions and to the European Commission reviewers for the constructive discussions and valuable feedback.
