On 24 September, the ODEON project reached an important milestone by holding its first review meeting with the European Commission. This session marked a key step in confirming that the work and developments carried out so far are on the right track.

The meeting not only validated the progress achieved, but also helped to fine-tune several strategic aspects to ensure that ODEON continues to meet the high standards of excellence expected from an EU-funded innovation project.
The project consortium received very positive feedback from the reviewers, highlighting the quality of the results and the strong collaboration among partners. As the ODEON team emphasises, these achievements are not a matter of luck but of dedicated teamwork. Each partner plays a crucial role, bringing expertise, commitment, and innovation to this shared journey towards the energy transition.

During the discussion, several key concepts emerged that will guide ODEON’s next steps — terms such as “beyond,” “transferability,” and “replicability” resonated with particular strength. These ideas not only shape the technical and scientific scope of the project but also its communication and dissemination strategy.
In this context, Raquel Castán, ODEON’s Communication Manager, reflects on the importance of grounding these concepts in every aspect of the project’s outreach activities, ensuring that the project’s impact extends beyond its immediate framework.
