The ODEON project brought together partners involved in its Danish demonstration site for a dedicated workshop at DTU’s Lyngby Campus in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, on 2 September 2026.
Organised by DTU, the workshop brought together six representatives from DTU, BEOF, EWII and TREFOR, with participation from both the research community and industry. The meeting provided an opportunity to review progress at the Danish demo site and align on the remaining technical and organisational activities ahead of ODEON’s second review meeting.
A key focus of the workshop was to ensure that the activities previously agreed by the partners are progressing as planned and that the different elements of the upcoming demonstration are fully aligned. Discussions covered the current status of data sharing, collection and availability, as well as the remaining technical and modelling activities.
The partners also reviewed the readiness of the use cases and agreed on the demonstration scenario and the respective presentation responsibilities of each organisation. Particular attention was given to ensure that technical developments, project activities and communication materials are consistent ahead of the review.
The workshop concluded with a clear overview of the remaining actions, responsible partners and deadlines leading up to the second review meeting. The partners also discussed priorities and plans for the period following the review, providing a basis for continued collaboration and progress at the Danish demonstration site.
The meeting highlighted the importance of close coordination between research and industry partners as ODEON moves towards its next stage of demonstrations and further integration of its solutions in real-world energy environments.
