What Is the Challenge Ambition Énergies Hauts-de-France?

The Challenge Ambition Énergies Hauts-de-France is a call for proposals that invites innovators to submit solutions to address various energy challenges. This event aims to accelerate the development and implementation of innovative energy technologies to advance the region’s energy transition. Solutions can include producing renewable energy, enhancing energy efficiency, and supporting sustainable practices.

Who Can Apply?

This competition is open to individuals, SMEs, and start-ups operating in Low-Tech Energy, Solutions to Combat Energy Poverty or Energy Demand Management

Other themes have been identified and can also be addressed like digitalization, Decarbonization, Decentralization, Network Optimization, Research, and Loss Reduction, Standing Out from Existing Solutions, Data: Collection, Processing, Analysis, Electrotechnical Materials and Equipment (sensors, connectors, instruments, etc.), Carbon Substitution or “Low Carbon” Solutions.

Projects supported through this Challenge must be led by a single, clearly identified project leader. The proposed innovation must have a minimum Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 4.

Why Participate in the Challenge?

  • Potential Funding: Up to €20,000 in support to help implement winning projects.
    • 1st Prize: A prize valued at €15,000 + technical assistance from a SICAE expert + media coverage on the social media networks of the competition’s partners.
    • 2nd Prize: Marketing, commercial, or technical assistance from a SICAE expert valued at €5,000 + media coverage.
    • 3rd Prize: Media coverage.
    • Special Student Prize: Media coverage + free access to a support program (training and mentoring) provided by innov’a, tailored to the project’s maturity and relevance.
  • Innovation Showcase: Successful projects could be featured at a demonstration site that illustrates the future of multi-source energy networks.
  • Networking Opportunities: Participants will connect with energy leaders and stakeholders committed to sustainable practices and innovation.

  • Presentation to the Jury: 6 February 2025.
  • Visit to SG CAPITOLE: 27 February 2025.
