Held on June 2 and 5\, the second ODEON Living Lab workshop will bring together a wide range of energy stakeholders\, from local prosumers to national regulators\, to explore how emerging technologies can reshape the future of energy in France and across Europe.  The event is co-organized by ODEON project partners\, regional energy provider SICAE\, and the Prospex Institute\, and forms part of the Sustainable Energy Days initiative within the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2025. \nThe Amiens workshop comes at a key moment for the ODEON project\, now 18 months into its four-year timeline. With demonstration sites in France\, Ireland\, Spain\, Greece\, and Denmark\, ODEON is testing how local data orchestration and digital solutions can unlock new opportunities in energy systems. Feedback gathered in Amiens will help shape ODEON’s final policy recommendations and support the broader goals of energy digitalisation\, decentralisation\, and decarbonisation across Europe. \nProsumers take the spotlight\nThe first session\, on June 2\, will take place at SICAE’s offices near Amiens and focus on energy prosumers\, individuals who both produce and consume energy\, many of them local farmers and SICAE customers. \nParticipants will share their expectations\, preferences\, and concerns about the evolving energy landscape\, while offering feedback on the ODEON technologies currently being piloted across Europe. Discussions will center on energy sharing\, digital platforms\, and local empowerment in the energy market. \nShaping the future with industry leaders\nThe second session\, scheduled for June 5 in central Amiens\, shifts the conversation to the energy value chain. Policymakers\, DSOs (Distribution System Operators)\, and regulators from the Amiens region and Paris will gather to examine how digital tools can better serve the business and regulatory needs of the sector. \nThis session will also focus on identifying barriers to innovation and crafting potential policy responses\, drawing from ODEON’s experiences in other European pilot sites. \nLanguage & Participation\n The June 2 session will be conducted in French\, with English interpretation available for international guests. The June 5 session will be bilingual\, with interpretation provided in both French and English. Breakout groups will be facilitated by French-speaking moderators and rapporteurs. \nParticipants will include local energy producers\, regulatory officials\, policy advisers\, and grid operators\, each contributing their expertise to a shared vision for the future of energy. \nThis workshop is internal in nature\, and the participants in both sessions have been selected by the project and the organisers.
